Waterfront City Melbourne

• The Waterfront City development is a new community precinct located within Melbourne CBD.
• Stage 1 of the project was completed using ‘brick snaps’ and thus all follow-on work had to match the facade created by this material.
• A formliner replicated a brickwork pattern onto the precast panels.
• NAWKAW was commissioned to stain the precast panels and give the building a rich pink brick colour.
• A smooth and consistent finish was achieved with a seamless blend between the brick snaps used in stage 1 and the precast panels used in the following stages.
